Lashea Wattie RNC, C-EFM, BSN, M.ED has been practicing in the area of obstetrical nursing for over 15 years. Her clinical and educational experience and expertise span labor/delivery, antepartum and mother/baby areas. Ms. Wattie is currently working as the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Women’s Services at a large health system in Georgia. She became an AWHONN Designated Instructor Trainer in 2010 and has been teaching AWHONN fetal monitoring for over 10 years. Ms. Wattie holds two certifications through NCC and currently provides in-services and seminars nationally.
In addition, Ms. Wattie is an active AWHONN member, a previous Atlanta Metro Chapter Leader and the current Georgia Section Chair for a second term. She has successfully inspired her region to become more active within their professional organization with exciting lectures, networking and current trends. Ms. Wattie has been selected as one of AWHONN's Second Quarter 2013 recipients of the Instructor Recognition Award.
